Villas - Reserva da Luz and Salema
Stuart, with a solid track record in construction in the United Kingdom and Italy, was looking for a team in Portugal with local knowledge, technical expertise and transparency. The recommendation came from the project architect, and that is how he came into contact with J.A. Duarte & Filho.
After visiting several construction sites, the attention to detail and quality of the finishes stood out as determining factors in choosing our team. Among six builders, we were selected for a formal interview and tender process, where the clarity of the proposal and the rigour in complying with the specifications made the difference.

Careful selection and commitment from the outset
This residential project was awarded after a rigorous selection process based on criteria of construction quality, detail of finishes, and clarity in technical and financial proposals. Our team stood out for its ability to respond to specific requirements, ensuring full alignment with the objectives defined from the tender phase onwards.
The project began with well-structured specifications, detailed plans and an execution plan focused on rigour and predictability. This preparation allowed us to guarantee efficient work with no surprises, within the stipulated deadline and budget.
A technical team focused on results
The project benefited from dedicated and highly organised technical coordination. The project management ensured that all phases were completed with attention to detail, while the construction team maintained strict control over on-site execution, site safety and effective resource management.
This model of operation — with close collaboration between technical management, site management and other professionals — ensured not only the quality of the final result, but also a fluid, productive working environment focused on the rapid resolution of unforeseen events.
Transparent construction and relationship of trust
Throughout the process, contractual clarity and constant communication between all parties were crucial to the success of the project. Whenever technical or logistical challenges arose, the team responded with quick solutions, ensuring that the pace of work remained stable and that the quality of execution was never compromised.
The close relationship with suppliers and local authorities proved essential in speeding up processes, anticipating constraints and ensuring an efficient response to the needs of the project.
Continuity and new challenges
With this project practically completed and another nearing completion, this relationship has been consolidated based on trust and the consistency of the work delivered. Effective planning, transparency in the process, and the involvement of a committed technical team are now the basis for new residential and commercial challenges that are already in preparation.
