In just four months, we designed and executed a highly demanding project for the company Algar: excavation, earthworks and structural work began and progressed simultaneously, with intensive mobilisation of resources and logistics.
We moved thousands of cubic metres of soil and rock with a fleet of around 40 machines and trucks operating continuously. This effort was essential to create the necessary levels and allow the base structure to progress.
The earthworks included clearing, excavation, levelling and compaction of the land, creating a stable and uniform base. This process is critical to ensure structural stability, prevent settlement and support future foundations.
This was followed by the formwork phase – the assembly of temporary wooden or metal moulds – to shape the reinforced concrete foundations and pillars. This technique ensures the shape and stability of the fresh concrete until it hardens.
The project involved rigorous planning to coordinate more than 40 heavy machines, ensure safety on the construction site, and meet the tight deadline. Efficient management of space and vehicle movement was required, combined with a well-organised technical team.
